Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026 — governed by Malaysian law
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through gunungclimbing.my, operated by Gunung, a Malaysian climbing footwear brand. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Orders & Payment
- All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. An order confirmation email constitutes our acceptance.
- Prices are shown in your selected currency (MYR, IDR, SGD, or PHP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a full refund at our discretion.
2. Delivery
- We ship within Malaysia and internationally. Shipping costs and estimated timeframes are shown at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates only. Risk of loss passes to you when the order is handed to the carrier.
- You are responsible for any import duties or customs fees applicable in your country. Delays caused by customs or carriers are outside our control.
3. Returns & Defective Goods
Under the Sale of Goods Act 1957 and Consumer Protection Act 1999, goods must be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose. If your order does not meet these standards, you are entitled to a remedy. To report a defective or incorrect item, email admin@gunungclimbing.my with your order number and a description of the issue.
As a goodwill policy, we also accept change-of-mind returns within 7 days of delivery for items that are unused, unworn, and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility for change-of-mind returns. Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days of receiving the returned item. Sale items are excluded from change-of-mind returns.
4. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or Sale of Goods Act 1957. Subject to the foregoing, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to that claim.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
